The first metaverse Indian wedding
Janaganandhini and Dinesh’s metaverse wedding reception are the first of their kind in India. The idea was conceived by the groom, who has been working in blockchain for the past one year.
“One fine morning, I found a YouTube video about Metaverse. He told Indian Express that he thought, “Why can’t we have an event in Metaverse?” “I am confident in Metaverse’s future…so I decided to organize an event so that everyone in India would be aware of the technology.”
Dinesh, the groom’s father, is also planning to be present at the metaverse wedding reception. “I had been planning to bring him in virtually and make him part of the event. He said that he would be present as a 3D avatar.
The reception will be held in TardiVerse’s metaverse in February. Vignesh Selvaraj, the founder of TardiVerse, is a startup located in Chennai. The website allows wedding guests to log in and choose an avatar to attend the reception. Web3’s future is evident in the couple’s metaverse reception.
